Design isn't just what I do.
It's how I figure things out.
What I lean on:
My design career started as a happy accident disguised as an experiment 🦸.
During my six years in the audiovisual world, I realized what I loved most wasn’t the filming — it was the editing. Editing is where the story takes shape, where you decide how it should feel, what to add, and what to cut out. I didn’t know it then, but that’s also design.
In 2018, inspired by the book Designing Your Life, I decided to leave that field and redesign my own path.
I started a self-directed learning path, investing 651 hours and about $78 to study UX.
To practice, I did personal projects — one of them was a guerrilla usability test on a Brazilian app I used called Enjoei.I shared the case study online, and almost a year later, the company’s design lead reached out.
That message became my first UX opportunity in 2019 🎉.
Since then, I’ve been designing digital experiences for tech companies in Brazil and worldwide.
My experience as a Product Manager helps me bridge user needs, business goals, and practical execution.
I also grew up moving a lot — about 39 houses across 15 cities — which may have helped me become more comfortable with change and more interested in people’s stories.
Today, I’m based in Florianópolis, Brazil with my husband, and our plants 🪴.
Like a labrador, I think everyone’s nice — until proven otherwise.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find me experimenting with new AI tools 🤖, biking around the island 🚲, cooking whole-food plant-based meals, or drawing to clear my head ✏️.

Kindness with honesty: if there’s spinach in my teeth, please tell me.
Thinking visually: shared visuals create shared understanding.
Curiosity: I’d rather hear great questions than absolute answers.
Simplicity: not easy, but worth striving for.
Listening to understand: not just to reply.
Autonomy: to explore and experiment.
I’m an early bird who wakes up around 4 a.m. 🌅
I organize my thoughts best when I write or sketch. ✏️
My clothes fit in a backpack, so I don’t spend energy deciding what to wear — I just repeat the same ones (thank you, washing machines). 🧺
I have a soft spot for sour things — including lemon on banana. 🍋
Turning scattered ideas into something structured and visual.
Bridging design, product, and business conversations.
Being resilient when everything changes.
Communicating ideas through writing and storytelling - my brain organizes thoughts best when I can see them.
Be clear about goals and timelines.
Give me context, not just tasks — otherwise, it turns into a back-and-forth of me asking questions.
If something feels off, please tell me early. I prefer kind honesty over polite agreement.
I sometimes talk too fast when I’m excited — just let me know so I can slow down.
Kindly remind me to take breaks when I’m deep in a rabbit hole.
Defining priorities and the problem we actually want to solve.
Asking thoughtful questions to help make sense of things.
Creating shared understanding through clear documentation and visuals.
I like listening and learning, so count on me to think things through with you
